The Laphroaig 12 Year Old is a premium Islay single malt Scotch whisky, crafted as an exclusive for Global Travel Retail. Matured entirely in hand-selected ex-bourbon American oak casks, it bridges the gap between the flagship 10-year-old and older expressions. Bottled at a robust 46% ABV without chill-filtration, it retains its natural color and rich, oily texture. The classic Laphroaig medicinal smoke, peat, and maritime brine remain front and center. However, the extra aging softens the edges, introducing layers of green apple, heather honey, and creamy vanilla for a sweeter, more rounded, and deeply complex finish.
