According to legend a mighty eagle sits at the top of a sacred ash tree and the beating of its wings creates the winds that sweep across Earth. WINGS OF THE EAGLE celebrates the wild island climate and its spicy and elegant character reveals a sophisticated combination of flavours layered as intricately as the feathers of an eagle’s wing. Character primarily driven by sherry seasoned European oak casks giving the whisky layers of flavour combining sweet dried fruits, warm spices, dark chocolate and marzipan.
