Tamnavulin Sauvignon Blanc Cask TR Ex

Tamnavulin Distillery was opened in 1966 on the banks of the River Livet, deep in the heart of Speyside, the most celebrated whisky producing region in Scotland. To complement the sweet, smooth and fruity flavour of Tamnavulin, this Speyside single malt has been matured in American oak barrels and then further matured in Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon French white wine casks which provide the signature notes of apple, apricot and citrus . Sweet, fruity, and fragrant. Colour: Honey gold. Nose: Sweet orchard apple with gooseberry, creamy vanilla, pressed grape, baked sponge with peach syrup and hints of aromatic camomile. Taste: Honeyed apricots, custard creams, apple jelly and green melon followed by a burst of bright citrus to finish.
