Dalmore 20 YO

Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then transferred to Gonz?­lez Byass casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. This additional enhancement period allows true flavour enrichment as the liquid changes profile in the cask and really allows our potential to shine through. Nose: Deep rich citrus, warm ginger cake, and ripe orchard fruits. Palate: Marzipan, Morello cherries, figs, aged bodega casks, and Oxford marmalade. Finish: Toffee apple, cinnamon spice, dark chocolate, and liquorice
