    The geographical indication "TREVENEZIE" includes the Veneto region, the Friuli Venezia-Giulia region and the province of Trento. It owes its name to "Tre Venezie" or "Le Venezie", by which this territory of ancient history and winemaking tradition is still known today. Merlot, which is one of the varieties allowed by this IGT, is an international red grape variety, capable of adapting well to any climatic and soil condition and is currently the most widespread and cultivated grape variety worldwide.
